This is a project Keith Macksoud the bassplayer in PRESENT and I started after we had done some recording together, and decided to do live all improvised "rock" shows. I decided to ask some of my own favorite players if they wanted to join up, so to speak. In September of 2004 we did our first show at ORION SOUND STUDIOS in Baltimore with Keith and I and Yanni Papadopoulos guitarist for the great band Stinking Lizaveta. A fun gig it was.

The next time we played ORION in May of 2005, we again worked with Yanni, and another of my fave players, the guitarist Mark Stanley. For years my friend Werbinox had been giving me CDs of his stuff doing vocals and electronics etc.,and so we decided to ask him to join and make it a five piece improvising ensemble. This still is to date our most intense show. Maybe I will take a poll!

Yanni, Paul & Keith, October 2005 at the Old Town Theater

Our third Show at the Olde Town Theatre in October 2005 for DC-SOAR ( boy are they brave souls ), Only Yanni was available, so we were back to the original 3 piece version. We played with Cyndee Lee Rule as well at this show.

For our most recent assault in January of 2006, we had no guitar player available. Jim Rezek from the band Iluvatar took the challenge and showed up with 2 well behaved tour ready Mellotrons courtesy of Mellotron Man Frank Stickle, and a Mini Moog. We also had Dave Newhouse from The Muffins, my son Adrian on cello, and Cyndee Lee Rule with us again. Our ORION shows were very well recorded by Mike Potter, and maybe some of this will be released someday. In the meantime, all we have here are some nice photos.
