Paul Sears boring snapshot history. There is no exciting option. Born in Washington DC in 1953 into a musical family, I was exposed - continually - to a lot of music including Wagner, Stravinsky, Delius, Gregorian Chant, Bartok, Donald Erb, Miles Davis, Gershwin, Stockhausen, etc., and a lot of other music by my parents. When I was a teenager in the 1960s I worked as roadie / cable guy for TAL sound in Washington DC area, the key sound company for large shows in DC area back then. Major shows included Alice Cooper, Mountain, Edgar Winter, Vanilla Fudge, Mark Stein's Boomerang, Black Sabbath, Spirit, Procol Harum, Humble Pie, Grin, Crank, Poco, Rory Gallagher, and many other great local acts at popular locations back in those days such as My Mother's Place, The Emergency, P Street Beach American University Ampitheatre, Alexandria Roller Rink, and Fort Reno park in Washington DC which to this day has shows.Since 1969 played in too many bands to remember, but most wrote their own material including Sane Day, Tinsel'd Sin, Magick Theatre, and the well documented The Muffins.
